We live in the Fox River Valley, approximately 35 miles northwest of the Chicago loop. Previously, we lived on Chicago's near north side and also the Hyde Park area. I grew up in a small farming community in far southern Illinois.

I graduated as a computer programmer way back when computers filled rooms and cards had to be keypunched. I have worked as an accountant, a secretary, and an administrative assistant. I am co-owner of an online business that develops specialized programs for webmasters.

We have been married since 1971, have three children who aren't children anymore, and four grandaughters. We share our lives with a cocker spanial/border collie mix, and a black cat.

What interests me? Computers - anything to do with the internet. I also enjoy wandering and finding interesting sites on the web. I hate housekeeping, I am rather left of center, and I am always working to keep our speech and thoughts and actions uncensored. I read mysteries, biographies, historical novels, and watch all the news programs. I am a non-participating Mensa person. I love music from the 50's and 60's, and classical.
